We (CandidSyndrome Team) were there to witness this wedding of the decade. 25 workforce on photography and videography was a huge team. Don't worry, the same size of event can be nicely covered by only 2 photographers and 3 videographers if there are no angle fighting with another hundreds of photographers from media and individual.
This is the video highlight of the solemnization & reception of the angkasawan Malaysia. It was the wedding of the decade where 80 astronauts from 20 countries were there to attend the wedding of Malaysia first astronaut.
Datuk Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar or known as Amus by his family and Dr. Sheikh by his friends safely put his step on the ISS on 10th Oct 2007. Hence, 10.10.10 was a special date chosen for him to get married to Dr. Halina, an anesthesiologist and at the same time his third anniversary of him as a space flyer.
The akad nikah (solemnization) took place at the grand mosque Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Putrajaya (known as Masjid Besi) in the morning and in Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) for his reception in the night.
